Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Nuul, a mobile application for sleep sounds and ambient mixing published by Nuul Labs ("we", "our", "us"). By installing or using Nuul, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Nuul on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written permission.

2. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

Nuul offers Premium access via three options sold through the App Store and Google Play:

• Monthly subscription — auto-renewing each month until cancelled.
• Yearly subscription — auto-renewing each year until cancelled.
• Lifetime — a one-time payment for permanent Premium access on the same store account.

Subscriptions renew automatically through the underlying store unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play account settings — we never charge your card directly. Refunds for subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are governed by Apple's and Google's standard refund policies.

3. No medical claims

Nuul is a wellness and ambient-sound app. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you experience persistent sleep problems or other health issues, consult a qualified healthcare provider.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Nuul to harass others, distribute malware, infringe third-party rights, or violate applicable laws. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its logo, copy, sound design, illustrations and underlying code are owned by Nuul Labs and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Some sounds may be licensed from third parties under Creative Commons or similar licenses; attribution is available in the in-app Sound credits screen.

6. Service availability

We provide Nuul on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees. Features may evolve or be removed at our discretion. The remote sound catalog is hosted via third-party infrastructure (Supabase) and may experience occasional outages.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and (b) USD 30. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, surfaced inside the app on next launch.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Ukraine, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
